Mistakes -His POV-

I closed my eyes
Not wanting to slip into reality
I had enough of that for one night
I wanted to go back to my fantasy

I dreamed
Of the time when I first saw her eyes
Hypnotized would be the word to describe
I'm not sure why I ever gave my goodbyes

That's right, its because I didn't
Everything was just right
Everyday, I would see her smile
And I walked away, what a fool was I

I'm not sure why I didn't wait
She was just a few months under my age
Was it really worth it?
To let her go so soon
Wholly crow, was I a fool!

It was all perfect,
Everyday I talked to her
All day,
And late into the night

And then she went on a vacation with her family for the week
I didn't talk to her
But do I have an excuse as to why?
If I did, it was too pathetic to remember

I didn't see her after she got back,
Her smile was fading
It wasn't there all the time
A scowl soon took the smiles place
If I had only known
It was because of me

Here I am today
Regretting what I did so long ago
She is now happy
She now laughs
But its not my hand shes holding
No, not mine

I got a call this afternoon
It was the girl I professed my 'love' to
All I got was hate and scorn
Everyday, just the same

I hope one day I'll have the guts
To say I'm sorry
Because I truly am
I was just a boy then,
But now I'm a man

Those green eyes
Will never escape my mind
And when I wake from my dream
I'll be back in reality
But that's okay
Its a punishment for all my mistakes

For all my mistakes
A regret was made
I was o so careless
I gave up something,
I can't replace

A little fall of rain

My vision's hazy
I'm not sure if its in my head
Or if Im going crazy

My name is called

But I cant seem to reply

I think Im ready
To go home now
I've seen so many things
And experienced so many

But time was coming near
We only have life for a short time
So many things keeping me from going
But more things are telling me to go

I hear the rain
I feel the breeze
No, nothing could penetrate me

"It's okay." I hear
"You'll be fine
Just please dont leave me.
You are forever mine."

I want to go to the voice
But I cant seem to move.
I know that I have wake up soon

I open my eyes, and see a faint grey light
Rain patters on the window
I want to go.
I want to go home.

Im ready
I spent my time
I want to go now
To reunite

I close my eyes one last time
"I love you"
Were the last words that escaped the lips of mine.

But when its your time
Dont hesitate

Be greatful for what you have

People will remember them

Its okay to say goodbye

Could you define perfect?
Is there a soul you think about.

It was just something that was never left out.

Time flies.
Things change
Something that was
Wont be the same

You close your eyes,
Ready to think,
Of the times that are slowly
Going out of reach.

You want them to pause.

Away from you

The Happy times

Grab your journal,
For the memories will fight.

Think over the past,
And what you have learned
Think of those times
When school was adjourned

Remember the time you had with your family?
Laughing!
There really was not an end
All those friends you saw around you
Laughing, crying, messing around

Remember the sad

The responsibilities that were put in your way
Did you stand up and take its place?
